THE GREAT FLOOD OF 2016
I set up this webpage for friends and family to show what was happening in Louisiana in the days immediately after the flood. A HUGE THANK YOU to those who gave of their time and resources in the rebuilding effort. Many of my personal friends and relatives were affected by this flood. It is heart-breaking to see the magnitude of the loss... homes, cars, businesses, animals, schools, churches, etc. These photos and videos will give you a true sense of the destruction. It was said that more rain fell during this flood than with Hurricane Katrina... a staggering thought.
I want to personally thank Bill Hewitt, Scot Black and Pete Brendle for taking time to drive down from Raleigh to assist me. Again, thank you from the bottom of my Cajun heart for all you have done to help my friends and family.
